Alewine Pottery had the best quality pottery we saw while doing the arts and crafts loop. We bought 2 sets of mugs and candle holders. The staff was friendly and did an excellent job of helping us find matching items and packing them for safe travel.
Visit from the Midwest and very impressed with the pottery, glaze colors/variations, styles, and pricing! Anyone who complains about the prices on these beautiful pieces doesn’t understand the time and handwork that goes into creating each of these. I got a mug and it was my only souvenir from our trip to the Smokys. Keep up the amazing work!
I have been here several times because I love the look of their pottery but it all breaks so easily. I've had several mugs and bowls break or crack. If I'm going to pay that kind of money I think it should last longer. I always wash them by hand as well. I tried reaching out to them to let them know their stuff breaks easily and I never received a message back. I think we are done shopping here.
